Recently three Middlesex staff members undertook an intensive 3-day course with British Gypsum to learn the most up to date methods in the dry wall lining Industry.
Feedback from the course was very positive with one participant stating: ‘The course was great. I feel really comfortable, so much so that I think I could build walls in my house!’.

Farrans have recently awarded us work at Tottenham HATO Block 5. It’s approximately 8 months’ work.
Middlesex have also recently been appointed a ‘Preferred’ Partner for Midas Construction. Our very own Charlie Preston has been recommended for the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award at the prestigious Pride of Brent Awards. Our client McLaren has recommended him for this accolade. He has been working in the borough since January 2018 and has been working alongside Daniel Akram Project Manager for the drylining package on McLaren Group’s Wembley Park project W03. Charlie’s role is as an apprentice dry liner on site, however he goes above expectation and has also trained as a slinger, which he is undertaking an NVQ level 2 in after completing 350 hours of training. Charlie has showed such promise that he is has also been trusted with logistics for the company and has taken other newer apprentices on site under his wing to support them with their practical skills. Daniel Akram, Project Manager, praises Charlie on his work ethic, ‘Charlie happily takes the lead on all matters of the site including logistics, whilst keeping a close eye on the materials for over 100+ operatives on site, he takes initiative to support myself and McLaren.’ |
