Sky Studios Elstree is a large-scale studio development which includes 13 sound stages (some as large as 60,000 sq ft) alongside production offices, workshops, post-production suites and a screening cinema. It has a strong sustainability vision; designed to be net-zero carbon, powered by renewable energy (with up to 20% generated on-site through solar), and committed to circular-economy construction practices.
Middlesex delivered the drylining works on this project which included suspended ceilings, acoustic baffles, timber-slatted ceilings, MF ceilings and insulation systems.
In keeping with Middlesex’s quality and safety focus, installations complied with all relevant standards, approved details, and manufacturer’s instructions.
Middlesex was also appointed to deliver the firestopping works.
